Moe’s Extreme Nachos
For those of you who are asking, “Who is Moe”? Moe is the nickname of my 11 year old son that is the polar opposite of a picky eater. He is the culprit of most Family Night dish creations because he is willing to explore the depths of food combinations. He also has the biggest appetite out of our family. Just watching him eat makes you gain 20 pounds. So with that said, this recipe is definitely not conducive for any weight loss programs or regimens.
What You Will Need
Bag of Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips
2 tbsp of Taco Seasoning
1 tbsp of Onion Powder
1 tbsp of Garlic Powder
1/2 cup of Water
What to do
1. Cook ground meat on medium heat until pink is gone. Once pink is gone, add taco seasoning turn meat until it is all covered in taco seasoning. Lastly, while turning meat add about 1/2 cup of water or less it depends on your desired constancy, let cook until water reduces. Remove from heat.
2. While ground meat cooks, prepare black beans. Add onion powder and garlic powder to black beans. Stir to mix powders into black beans. Let simmer on medium-low heat for about 10 minutes or until completely heated.
3. Put Chips on a platter, individual bowls, or plates.
4. Add ground meat on top of chips.
5. Add Black Beans on top of ground meat.
6. Add Cheese
7. Add Pico de Gallo
8. Add Spinach
9. Add Jalapenos
10. Add a scoop of sour cream and green onions to the top. Serve and Enjoy!
